Lutronic Clarity II® Laser Hair Removal

Fast. Comfortable. Effective across all skin types.

Lutronic Clarity II is the next-generation, dual-wavelength (755nm Alexandrite & 1064nm Nd:YAG) laser system designed for high-performance hair removal and skin treatments. Whether you’re targeting fine, medium, or coarse hair, Clarity II delivers exceptional results safely—across a full range of skin tones.

Why choose Clarity II?

Hair removal remains the most in-demand energy-based aesthetic treatment for both men and women. Clarity II stands out by combining speed, safety, and versatility, allowing for precise treatment of even the most challenging skin and hair types.

  • Dual-wavelength flexibility: Alexandrite (755nm) for lighter skin and fine hair; Nd:YAG (1064nm) for deeper skin tones and coarse hair
  • Customisable spot sizes (2-25mm) and up to 3Hz repetition rate for faster treatment sessions
  • Intelligent Tracking System (ITS): Monitors skin temperature in real-time for enhanced comfort and safety
  • No gels. No messy preparation. Just quick, effective results

How does it work?

The Clarity II laser targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair shaft during the active growth (anagen) phase. The energy is converted to heat, destroying the hair follicle while preserving surrounding skin.

Can all skin tones be treated?

Yes. The Clarity II system safely treats all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI), thanks to its integrated cooling and dual-laser design. It is especially effective for darker skin tones when using the Nd:YAG wavelength.

Can tanned skin be treated?

We advise avoiding sun exposure or tanning for 3–4 weeks before treatment. Tanned skin increases the risk of pigment changes, and treatment is most effective on untanned skin.

How many treatments are needed?

Hair grows in cycles, and only 15–20% of follicles are in the treatable anagen (growth) phase at any time.

Most patients require 5–10 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart for long-term reduction. Treatment protocols are tailored by our dermatologists and performed by our experienced nursing team.

Is it right for everyone?

Laser hair removal is safe for most, but we do not treat:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Children under 18 without parental consent
  • Skin with active infections (e.g., cold sores) or history of skin cancer
  • Areas with a tendency for keloid scarring
  • Patients with photosensitivity disorders (e.g., lupus, porphyria)
  • Patients on photosensitising medications
  • Those with any medical or psychological condition affecting informed consent or treatment safety
